LANZA Band Update

Hey everyone it’s been a while since we’ve written anything but lot’s has been happening with us as we follow the crazy and wonderful path that God has for us. The Lord has been teaching us so much and He is definitely changing us daily. We’ve really been learning how important it is to speak faith and not doubt and to believe that with God “all things are possible”. Rather then getting bogged down in the daily cares and circumstances of this life we want to live in the incredible miracle – faith realm of Jesus.
We believe that the Lord is choosing those around the world who will be totally sold out for Him and who will live according to His word and daily direction. We feel that it’s like Gideon’s Army. It’s a people who will radically obey the Lord and the result will be radical victory. God whittled Gideon’s Army down to only 300 of those that He chose for the battle. Gideon’s 300 went up against a Midiante army that the bible tells us was ” thick as locusts” and that “their camels could no more be counted than the sand on the seashore”. Three hundred men with trumpets and empty jars with torches inside them against this massive army. But Gideon’s army had the most valuable weapon of all, a word from the Lord. That word was that ,”with the three hundred men I will save you and give the Midianites into your hands”. The 300 surrounded the huge Midianite army, broke the jars and blew their trumpets and this caused such confusion in the Midianite camp that they began to attack each other.
This one act of radical obedience brought a miraculous, impossible, radical victory. We believe that God is raising up a new “Gideon’s Army” for such a time as this. A generation who will obey God to the extreme and truly believe that with God all things are possible. A generation who will believe that simple obedience to God will change nations. This is not a movement or a cause it’s just an “army” chosen by God who is totally sold out for Him.
We don’t know all that God wants us to do or everywhere He wants us to go but we want to be a blessing and encouragement to all who feel called to be part of this modern day “Gideon’s Army”. Please pray with us and for us that we can join together to encourage each other and worship Jesus together and learn what God is teaching us and to hear what He is saying to us. As it says in Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”. Oh and what a great future it is.
